State of the Nations: Varik Sweeps

Welcome back to the State of the Nations on the ATLUS ONLINE blog!

Starting this week, we’ll be featuring the State of the Nations on Thursdays for both the blog and forum communities. Each one will come with different commentary, so hardcore fans can visit both State of the Nations to get a double-scoop of awesome. :)

Forneus

Varik swept all Clash of the Nations last week, with Empire coming in second. What could be bringing Varik to the headfront of Clash? Congratulations to the Confederation!

In Invasion of the Zealots and War of Dominion, Varik doesn’t make the cut. Empire defeats the most golems (14 kills!), then storms into Kingdom and takes the castle. Congratulations, Latugan!

The Decisive Battle of Sieghelm is where Kingdom gets a chance to shine. They take a decisive victory, with Varik closely behind. Thumbs up, St. Pflestein!

The verdict? All nations are experiencing victory, but each battlefield changes the fray. Keep up with the neck-and-neck war results in your conquest to dominate Forneus!

Astaroth

In the grand lands of Astaroth, Clash of the Nations fell divided between Kingdom and Varik, with Empire coming in second during the 9/7 war. Grats to everyone who participated. ;)

In Invasion, Kingdom took the forefront with 14 golems, while Varik came in second as the challenger. Varik defeated the defending kingdom and seized the Dominion castle.

Kingdom continued its winning streak in Siege of Sieghelm, with Varik in second place. Awesome job, Kingdom!

State of Nations | Mornings and Nights

Greetings, Pandorians!

After several weeks, we have a new State of the Nations for free MMORPG Pandora Saga. While results have changed since the last report, there’s still a visible trend of Kingdom > Varik > Empire.

Clash of the Nations

During the Tuesday and Thursday morning wars, Varik brought their A-game. Yet in Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday wars—all held during evening hours—Kingdom swept the battlefield. While Empire didn’t claim victory, their numbers aren’t far behind the Confederation.

Is it a lack of organization in Latugan, or are the Varikians bringing in more champs during the mornings, while leaving the nighttime high-and-dry?

Decisive Battle of Sieghelm

Kingdom brought less numbers, yet they pwned the battlefield.

Invasion of the Zealots

Varik and Kingdom were also the leads of this war, but Empire’s efforts should not be discredited. While Kingdom took out 9 Zealots, Empire wasn’t far behind at an 8 Zealot count. Varik rocked the socks out of 12 Zealots.

War of Dominion

Despite Varik’s domination over the Invasion of the Zealots, Kingdom was able to successfully defend during the War of Dominion.

State of the Nations | Balance Incoming!

For this week’s State of the Nations, let’s cut to the chase and look at these results:

Kingdom stomped.

Kingdom took the numbers again.

Kingdom dominated the Zealot Wars.

Kingdom held top attendance for Sieghelm, too.

So what does this all mean? Like last week, Kingdom was the predominant powerhouse for the battlefront, and while ATLUS ONLINE likes the idea of a nation doing well, we started to question the balance within the game.

That’s why, for this week’s maintenance, we’ve made some tweaks to try to level the playing field! Hopefully everyone sees improvements. We’re sure Kingdom looks forward to a challenge, too.

State of the Nations | No Change in Scenery

Welcome to the third blog entry for State of the Nations, your latest statistics for free MMORPG Pandora Saga! The tepid, summer days have slowed the shift of between nations, for a lackluster change from last week.

In Clash, we experienced a slight decline in Empire percentages, with Varik and Kingdom bringing more to the table. Other than this morning’s war (go Varik!), Kingdom dominated CotN throughout the week. Sounds familiar, right?

Invasion of the Zealots experienced a different turn than the previous week, with Kingdom overthrowing the golem count, and Varik not far behind. Even though Empire didn’t make the cut, they took out their fair share of golems. So grats to all attendees!

The War of Dominion was a real bloodbath. Kingdom held up a stalwart defense against the invading forces of Varik, claiming victory not just for Clash, but for Zealot Wars as well!

While we’d like to report some variety in Siege of Sieghelm, Kingdom claimed victory here as well! Huge kudos to Kingdom for nearly winning all the wars this week, and applause to all warriors who fought in the name of their nation.

State of the Nations | Fragmented Wars

State of the Nations | Fragmented Wars

Today marks the second State of the Nations for the official ATLUS ONLINE blog. Let’s see how the nations fared compared to last week.

The charts are deceptive! While Kingdom had a balanced amount of attendees throughout the week—and the highest attendance overall—Varik and Empire were balanced, yet disjointed. On Wednesday, Varik suffered low attendance; and on Thursday and Sunday, Empire came with lower numbers.

This is to be expected from a free MMORPG that attracts players from around the world, bringing along their different schedules and commitments! Kingdom took victories most of the week, although Varik had a moment of glory on Thursday. Great job to everyone who brought their A-game to Clash of the Nations, especially the victorious Kingdom!

Invasion of the Zealots wasn’t as balanced as we’d experienced last week. Despite Empire bringing less numbers, they took out more Zealots than Kingdom, the highest-attendance nation! Great job, Latugans. This turn of events brought you into the War of Dominion against the noble Varik Confederation. This is the kind of on-your-seat excitement ATLUS ONLINE loves to see in their free MMORPGs!

Even though Empire made an epic comeback in the Invasion, they weren’t able to defeat the valiant defenders of Varik in the War of Dominion. Kudos to both sides, and grats to Varik for seizing victory!

In the Siege of Sieghelm, Kingdom destroyed the attendance charts, then claimed a decisive victory! Varik and Empire weren’t without their warriors, so congrats to all the adventurers who attended the battlefield.

What’s the conclusion? Kingdom can bring on the numbers—and those numbers translate to victories—but all nations had a chance in the spotlight! Latugan made a comeback during the Invasion, and Varik rocked the Dominion. We hope all the nations enjoyed the wars of the past and the battles yet to come!

State of the Nations Hits the Blog

State of the Nations Hits the Blog

Greetings, Pandora Saga adventurers!

In the past, we’ve hosted State of the Nations on the Pandora Saga website and forums. But with the launch of the official ATLUS ONLINE blog, we’re hoping to bring a swankier State of the Nations in the weekly Pandora Press! Of course, we’ll still feature bonus Pandora Saga news for all our free MMORPG fans.

This week, Latugan and Kingdom were hot and heavy in Clash of the Nations. Both sides were 2:2 with narrow victories. But let’s not discount Varik, who stepped to the front lines for this morning’s war!

In this week’s Invasion of the Zealots, all three nations were toe-to-toe in participants—and man, the results show it! Kingdom and Empire took down nine Zealots, while Varik beat eight golems in the pursuit of victory.

With the Invasion of the Zealots results in, it was time for Kingdom to charge into Latugan. This epic war resulted in Empire successfully defending their territory! Both nations were neck-and-neck in participants. Great job, warriors!

Last, but not least… the Decisive Battle of Sieghelm! Kingdom crushed the opposition, with Varik in second, and Empire a distant third. This war wasn’t gifted with the balanced participation side of the others, but there’s always next week.

Kudos to those who took arms in the name of their nation! You’re the reason Pandora Saga, ATLUS ONLINE’s free MMORPG, has such a thriving community. Keep it up!
