BattleSpace Open Beta | May 17th

Greetings, BattleSpace fans!

The blogging monkeys just got wind of the official release date for the BattleSpace Open Beta. Prepare to beta-launch into the stars this Thursday, May 17th! If you haven’t already, sign up for an ATLUS ONLINE account. You’ll need this to hyperspeed into our beta starscape!

For those of you not familiar with the awesomeness of our sci-fi no-download game, you can expect the following from ATLUS ONLINE’s latest title:

  • Real-time construction, upgrading, and research projects
  • Interstellar turn-based combat, automated based on the player’s strategy
  • Guild-based system with “Unions,” galactic organizations aiming to conquer the Giant Planet

Unlike our other no-download games, BattleSpace is designed for season-based play. This means you have a chance to start fresh and new every few months—with many of the tools you built up from previous play, of course.

We look forward to hearing what our dedicated fans think of the new content in the open beta release. There might be extra goodies for joining, so make sure to mark the date on your calendar. ;)

You tell us! We’d love to hear your thoughts.

Commander Skills | Behind the Scenes

Commander Skills | Behind the Scenes

Here on the BattleBridge, we can view hundreds of commanders available for BattleSpace’s intergalactic wars. One of our favorite parts about this no-download flash game is organizing the perfect militia.

We wanted to introduce you to commander skills, so you can see one of the key strategies behind ATLUS ONLINE’s upcoming sci-fi adventure!

Commanders come with domestic- or combat-oriented skill sets. This affects their Domestic Affairs score, the amount of Forces under their control, and the special bonus they provide when on the front lines.

Let’s check out Lesath, one of Uncommon commanders you can start the game with:

She’s a combat-oriented Ereza with high Command and decent Forces. If she were a domestic-oriented commander, she’d only have a Forces of 3, but her Domestic Affairs score would rank higher.

Her special bonus applies to S-Type ships, with a Skill Effect of 3.0%. This means her torpedo and plasma weaponry are 3.0% more effective than other commanders of her rarity, type, and Level. If she goes through fusion, she could increase in Skill Level, which would bolster her percentages even more. They key to a stronger commander is focusing in these Skill Levels!

Players who participate in the Closed Beta or Open Beta will receive a special commander with a unique skill set. To sign up for the Open Beta, make sure you have an ATLUS ONLINE account, then go to your user profile and subscribe to newsletters. Your next no-download flash game could be waiting just around the corner!

You tell us! We’d love to hear your thoughts.
